RAJINI PRAISES VENKATESH
Actor Venkatesh is on Cloud Nine! Guess why? He was appreciated by none other than superstar Rajinikanth for his performance in Nagavalli (sequel to Chandramukhi). Interestingly, Rajni reprised the role of the psychiatrist in Chandramukhi. The film stars five heroines: Anushka, Kamalini Mukherjee, Shraddha Das, Poonam Kaur and Richa Gangopadhyay. Cinematography is by Shyam K. Naidu and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. Paruchuri Brothers have penned the dialogues.
Superstar Rajinikanth along with his family members saw P Vasu directorial Nagavalli in Chennai on Thursday. The director had arranged a special screening at a Chennai preview theater for the actor.
After watching the movie, he praised the efforts of Nagavalli cast and crew members. Actor Venkatesh has impressed the superstar with his amazing performance. Actresses Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay’s performance have also got thumbs-up from Rajini, says sources.
It may be recalled that Rajinikanth was firstly approached for the film as he had starred in its prequel Chandramukhi in 2005. But the superstar opted out citing out some reasons and had advised Vasu to go with separate versions in Tamil and Telugu. In fact, he had also referred Venkatesh for Telugu version and Ajith Kumar for Tamil version.
