Giselle Monteiro, 20, a Brazilian model, hails from Espirito Santo in Brazil. She made her Bollywood debut in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal (2009) as Harleen, a small town Punjabi girl, who played the love inerest of Saif Ali Khan as a Sikh.
The six feet tall fashion model moved to Germany for better opportunities in modeling. She has traveled to France, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Philippines for fashion shows and modelling assigments. She says, "And everywhere, I was told I look very Indian. So there was this desire to come to Mumbai and now I intend staying here."
