The actress Vidya Balan who has won many accolades for films like Parineeta, Paa and Isqiya has been asked by the painter MF Hussain to pose nude for his paintings.
Close sources to the actress say it is a way of tarnishing the image of an actress who has recently got so many awards. Others are of the opinion that Ekta Kapoor’s The Dirty Picture has a few scenes where she has agreed to expose and that is the reason that gave MF Hussain the thought of making those paintings. Although nudity has been a favourite topic for the painter and he did dare to make a few nude paintings, he got caught in many controversies. Only time will tell how the actress who is busy in New York is going to react and whether paintings of hers will ever be made.

Tharoor scored over the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor and Madhavan to become the hottest male vegan. “Vidya Balan and Shashi Tharoor embody many admirable qualities, but their commitment to a vegetarian diet that's as kind to animals and the earth as it is to their own health makes them true royalty in our book,” Poorva Joshipura, chief of PETA, said in a statement.

I think saree is, by far, the sexiest garment — it covers the right amount, it exposes the right amount — it’s such a tease and I like teasing,” says Vidya.
